This is a list of the bird species recorded in Montserrat. The avifauna of Montserrat include a total of 117 species, of which 34 are rare or accidental. There is one endemic species, the critically endangered Montserrat oriole, as well as an endemic subspecies of the forest thrush. Three Important Bird Areas have been identified on Montserrat by BirdLife International, the Northern Forested Ghauts, Centre Hills and South Soufriere Hills. This list's taxonomic treatment (designation and sequence of orders, families and species) and nomenclature (common and scientific names) follow the conventions of ''The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World'', 6th edition. The family accounts at the beginning of each heading reflect this taxonomy, as do the species counts found in each family account.
